With less than five weeks to go until Christmas Day, Brits are busy preparing for a festive season to remember. Whether planning to visit friends or family elsewhere in the UK this year, Vrbo®, a global expert in family holiday rentals, wants to ensure nothing ruins the perfect family Christmas, not even the risk of a shortage of Christmas trees near the big day!

To make sure Brits have everything they need to celebrate with their loved ones, Vrbo has launched the ‘Temporary Christmas Tree Service’, a service which provides travellers with their very own Christmas tree, to make their Vrbo holiday rental during the Christmas holidays feel festive and just like being at home!

For holidaymakers booking a stay in the UK on the Vrbo platform during the Christmas period*, they will be able to receive a Christmas tree at their chosen property, at no extra cost, to ensure they can enjoy a traditional, family Christmas celebration. One less thing to worry about packing and no tears from the kids in case of a shortage of Christmas trees.

The humble Christmas tree has a very important place in Brits’ hearts. A third (33%) claimed that decorating the Christmas tree is when they start getting into the Christmas spirit, whilst 4 in 10 (45%) stated that decorating the tree is what they like most about Christmas!

And for half of Brits (50%), the Christmas tree is considered the favourite family tradition during the holidays – a family Christmas celebration clearly isn’t complete without the much-loved Christmas tree!
