UPGRADE YOUR KICKS AT DANIEL CORDAS STREETWEAR POP-UP IN SOHO

Calling all footwear fashionistas that want to dial-up their streetwear sneaker game and follow in the footsteps of Billie Eilish, Travis Scott, Floyd Mayweather and Stormzy; courtesy of a new collaboration between the most awarded tequila in the world, 1800 Tequila and leading bespoke hand painting artist Daniel Cordas – 1800 x Daniel Cordas.

Following previous partnerships with the likes of Red Bull, Adidas, Harrods and Jimmy Choo, Cordas has been challenged by 1800 Tequila to unite a diverse blend of creatives and fans under one roof in the home of streetwear fashion, London’s Soho. Pick up your phone, open the calendar and make a note that the exclusive 1800 x Daniel Cordas collection drops Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd August.

Cordas’ exclusive, bespoke trainer art will pull inspiration from notable tequila cocktails with bright blue representing a Tequila and Tonic cocktail, pinky-orange, representing a Paloma and lemon-lime, representing a Margarita. The dip-dye colours that will be used to paint the trainers will actually be infused with real splashes of 1800 Tequila. These trainers, all of which are one of a kind, will be on display at the event and be awarded to one lucky winner.

Sneaker fans will also have the opportunity to have their kicks levelled up into box-fresh pieces of art by Cordas himself. In addition to the three trainers Cordas will have customised ahead of the event, he will also be offering those that attend the chance to customise their own trainers from a curated menu of designs. Each sneaker will also feature an embossed Daniel Cordas signature and 1800 Tequila logo on the tip of the toe. The key ingredient when showing off to a friend!

The must-have money-can’t buy summer streetwear designs will also have extra appeal to sneaker heads and hypebeasts everywhere because they are entirely FREE. Yes, jaw-dropping, right?

Whether you’d like to walk away in them or keep them boxed-up and saved for posterity, pairs of the trademark Cordas ‘ART NOT CUSTOMS’ will be available by visiting the store on the day or by entering an online ballot, via 1800’s Instagram page.

There’s also much, much more for the active midnight queuer as visitors to the Soho experience can wet their whistle at the 1800 Tequila bar with cocktails including Margarita’s, Paloma’s and Tequila and Tonics – all while marvelling at the maverick trendsetter Cordas in action. Attendees will also have the opportunity to collar Tequila Educator Oliver Pergl for a tequila masterclass

But that’s not all… from what’s on your feet to giving someone else a foot-up, tastemakers 1800 Tequila and Cordas are inviting new, emerging sustainable streetwear brands along to showcase their work and drop some exciting, limited-edition pieces from their latest collections. Watch. This. Space.

Streetwear artist Daniel Cordas said: “I am always overwhelmed by the affection people have for my art, both in-person and online, so I can’t wait to show off this unique collaboration with 1800 Tequila. It will be a two-day celebration of innovation and creativity, from tequila-inspired and infused designs, to new, sustainable brands showcasing exclusive offerings. Together, we will share our joined passion of the work we do with the world, while offering hypebeasts the opportunity to get inspired to do the same. I can’t wait to see you all there!”

1800 Tequila aspires to illuminate the world by providing a platform that both established and up and coming artists can utilise to showcase their unique, innovative styles – kicking off with the iconic face of streetwear designs, Daniel Cordas!
