Pub landlords could become shopkeepers thanks to new plans to turn Covid hit boozers into retail outlets.

 Foodie chain Eat17 is offering stressed landlords the chance to franchise a store directly into bars across Britain.

Boss James Brundell said: “Landlords can utilise floor space to offer our proven retail products.” 

He’s written to pub operators across the UK. It means pubs could soon be selling award winning Eat17 products such as Bacon Jam.
