MERLIN ENTERTAINMENTS CONFIRMS ITS LONDON ATTRACTIONS WILL REOPEN FROM MAY 17

Merlin Entertainments is excited to confirm its five famous London attractions The lastminute.com London Eye, Madame Tussauds London, SEA LIFE London Aquarium, The London Dungeon and Shrek’s Adventure! London will reopen on Monday May 17, after the Government confirmed the next stage of its roadmap out of lockdown.

The lastminute.com London Eye will again offer unparalleled 360 degree moving views of the capital from 135m up, giving visitors a truly awe-inspiring 30-minute rotation. With lots of exciting plans in the pipeline for this summer, stay tuned to their social channels and website for brand new experiences!

Madame Tussauds London will be bringing a much-needed injection of glitz and glamour with a new look to its star-studded attraction and an exciting line-up of new figures ready to join the party this summer. From taking to the stage with Taylor Swift and Beyoncé to joining the Royal Family for a regal portrait – and so much more – guests can shake off their sweatpants and step on to the red carpet alongside their favourite stars at the famous Baker Street attraction.

SEA LIFE London Aquarium is home to one of Europe’s largest collections of global marine life, including Gentoo penguins and sea turtles, while visitors can also discover Coral Kingdom, the Rainforest Adventure and Shark Walk, where creatures found in the Pacific swim right above your head! Later in the summer, the Octonauts will also be arriving to thrill youngsters.

The London Dungeon allows visitors to live and breathe the capital’s darkest history, with unforgettable frights from the likes of Jack the Ripper and Sweeney Todd and two hair-raising rides while Shrek’s Adventure! London lets visitors step into and star in their very own hilarious misadventure with Shrek and his DreamWorks® friends and includes the chance to meet the big man himself!

A range of comprehensive safety precautions are in place at all Merlin attractions, including pre-booking, temperature checks, social distancing and group sizes and the wearing of masks by guests and team members.
