LONDON BRAWLING: LONDONERS ARE THE WORST QUEUE JUMPERS IN THE UK

Londoners are the worst behaved of all Brits when it comes to queuing, opting to weasel their way to the front of the line instead of waiting their turn.

A new study by Topgolf reveals the different UK attitudes towards queuing, finding London to be home to the most regular queue pushers (39%).

Northern Irish citizens are least likely to skip the line, with almost two-thirds of residents (65%) never considering a queue jump, followed closely in an orderly fashion by the well-behaved Scots (61%).

Queue jumpers are also warned not to practice their art in Northern Ireland – as well as having the lowest proportion of queue jumpers in the UK – almost half of Northern Ireland residents (46%) would make audibly sarcastic comments and even use physical aggression when in proximity of someone cutting in the line.

East Anglia is the most divided region in the UK with 39% of residents opting to remain passive in a queue-jumping scenario, whilst just under half (45%) of East Anglian folk would kick up a fuss if someone cut in ahead of them in a queue.

Those in the North East are particularly laissez-faire when it comes to queue jumpers, despite being in the top three regions for cutting the queues regularly (26%). The nonchalant North Easterners tend to leave the non-queue respecting Brits to their own devices with a mere 22% of residents partial to exerting any sign of aggression.
