INDUSTRY SUCCESS AT THE FIRST TIME BUYER READERS’ AWARDS

The results of the 2021 First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards have been revealed, officially determining the best of the best in the property industry this year. Leading property experts were invited to attend the highly-anticipated award ceremony at the London Marriott Hotel at Grosvenor Square. The event saw television property duo Jonnie Irwin and Nicki Chapman reunite once again to crown the winners of the 2021 First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards.

Now in their 12th year, the prestigious First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards aim to reward the achievements of the first time buyer market, and celebrate the individuals and companies that have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help aspiring homeowners onto the property ladder. Winners took home awards in a range of categories; including the competitive Private Developer of the Year and Affordable Housing Provider of the Year awards. This year also saw two new categories enter the mix; the Best Use of Interactive Tools and Judges’ Rising Star Award.

Lynda Clark, CEO of First Time Buyer, says: “The First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards are such a highlight of our year and we were so happy to be back again. It was such an honour to be able to celebrate, in person, the efforts of the individuals and companies dedicated to supporting first time buyers throughout their journey onto the housing ladder. Homeownership has never been so important to so many and therefore it is essential that we recognise the hard work undertaken by the industry to help make it possible.

“This year we have seen some really superb entries, and while all of the shortlisted companies have demonstrated exceptional work, the winners this year have clearly impressed both our judges and readers.”

While the final decision was left in the hands of readers of First Time Buyer Magazine, who voted for their winners online, the initial shortlist was comprised by an expert panel of judges.
