Following the easing of government lockdown measures, Hoppers Soho, the Frith Street restaurant inspired by the hearty home cooking and roadside stalls of Sri Lanka and South India, will reopen its doors on Wednesday 29th July with extended outdoor seating, following the reopening of sister restaurants Hoppers King’s Cross and Hoppers Marylebone earlier this month.

Guests returning to Hoppers Soho can expect a menu filled with all the old favourites, all available to be enjoyed indoors or outdoors, thanks to the pedestrianisation of Frith Street. The new outdoor area, which can accommodate up to 24 diners, is part of Soho’s Summer Street Festival, a district-wide initiative launched by Shaftesbury and Soho Estates alongside Westminster Council, which aims to keep the beating heart of London’s food and drink scene alive.

Diners can bask in the sunshine while enjoying a menu of hoppers, dosas, kothus and all the restaurant’s favourite karis, alongside dishes exclusive to Hoppers Soho. A full selection of cocktails, wine and beer will be available, and the restaurant will continue to operate click and collect and delivery, with a radius of up to 8 miles.

Hoppers Soho will reopen on Wednesday 29^th July. Given the limited number of seats, only very few bookings for larger groups will be taken. A majority of the tables will be held for walk-in guests who turn up in person or join the virtual queue via the Walk-Up app.
