FOODHUB SIGN FOR STOKE CITY FC IN EXCITING TWO-YEAR ADVERTISING DEAL

Two of Stoke-on-Trent’s most influential businesses have joined forces after Foodhub signed an exciting partnership deal with Stoke City FC, it has been revealed today.

The online takeaway giant is now an official advertising partner of the Potters, as part of an two-year deal that will see Foodhub branding displayed around the bet365 Stadium and across the club’s digital platforms.

Both parties are firmly rooted in the Stoke-on-Trent community, playing important roles as employers, as well as through vital charity work that both businesses undertake.

Foodhub CEO Ardian Mula said he was “thrilled” to announce the partnership, which he described as a “perfect match”, while Stoke City’s Partnerships and Advertising Manager, Steve Forrest, said he was “delighted”.

The deal will see Foodhub receive two minutes of advertising per game on the pitch side hoardings, with additional advertising appearing around the bet365 Stadium and across the club’s digital platforms.

Both parties expect the deal to result in fan competitions, as well as the possibility of Foodhub working alongside Stoke City’s catering operations to improve supporter experience on match days.

The pioneering tech company has 30,000 restaurants, takeaway and restaurant partners across the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, and took more than 34 million orders worldwide last year.

Around 400 independent takeaways and restaurants in the Potteries alone are signed up to the Foodhub portal, which is unlike their competitors as they do not charge customers a service fee when ordering.

CEO Ardian Mula said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Stoke City, one of the founding members of the Football League – and the backbone of our city.

“At Foodhub, we too take immense pride in supporting the Stoke-on-Trent community, and we’re positive that our new association together will reinforce this commitment on both sides.

“As a business, we couldn’t dream of a more perfect match, and we’re massively excited to support the club in its efforts next season. Up the Potters!”

Stoke City’s Partnerships and Advertising Manager, Steve Forrest, said: “We are delighted to welcome Foodhub as our latest Platinum Partner and would like to take this opportunity to thank Ardian, Simon and the wider team at Foodhub for their incredible support.

“As an ambitious international company with roots laid firmly within Stoke-on-Trent, they are a great addition to our partnership portfolio and understand the benefits to be had in working closely with Stoke City Football Club and engaging closely with our supporters.”

Steve added “We have already been working closely together on a number of exciting activations ahead of the forthcoming season and we look forward to sharing these with supporters over the coming weeks.”
