After launching last week, Walt Disney Travel Company’s Journey to the Magic podcast series hosted by Giovanna Fletcher is back for another week. Joining Giovanna on her sofa this week is long-time Disney fan and friend of the star, Emma Willis to discuss travel tales and love interests.

Ahead of their five-day trek around the Scottish Highlands this week, Emma and Giovanna sat down to reminisce about their favourite memories together. During their first group skiing holiday, the pair became stranded on the side of a mountain as the slopes were due to close for the night – Giovanna admitted, “I’ve honestly never been so scared” as she worried they would be stuck overnight.. In a bid to get down, Emma revealed she took her skis off and walked down the mountain. Giovanna, who is not very experienced on skis, said she “resembles Olaf” as she was tumbling down a hill.

Throughout the episode, the pair discuss other memories they share – with the two running into each other during Giovanna and her husband, Tom Fletcher’s, honeymoon in Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Comparing how the two like to plan their Disney holidays, Emma admits that her family holidays usually end up in chaos, as she doesn’t like to plan in advance. While, long-time Disney fan, Giovanna Fletcher, admits that she always turns up to her Disney holidays, armed with a spreadsheet full of activities to avoid missing out on any key events while at the Disney parks.

Throughout the podcast, Emma and Giovanna can be heard describing how they juggle parenting and taking the time to switch off on holidays and what makes their perfect Disney day out. When quizzed by Giovanna on which Disney character is her favourite, Emma opts for an unlikely villain over Frozen’s beloved Elsa. For Emma, Darth Vader takes the crown, further explaining, “oh, I love a bad boy!”.
