BRITISH ILLUSTRATOR TOBY TRIUMPH, CREATES MOUTH WATERING MURAL AT LONDON DESIGNER OUTLET

A new, impactful food-inspired mural by iconic illustrator Toby Triumph has been commissioned by London Designer Outlet in Wembley Park. The mural brings a sense of fun and vibrancy to the area, whilst creating a photogenic entrance point to the bustling selection of restaurants, cafes and eateries that neighbour each other on the centre’s first and second floors.

Launching at London’s leading premium fashion and lifestyle outlet destination, the mural, entitled “Let the Good Times Roll” will be true to Triumph’s signature, detailed and hand-drawn style that often has an irreverent, POP-inspired edge. The mural evokes the joy of eating out and will whet visitor’s appetites on their way to sample the delicious gastronomic delights the designer outlet has to offer. Visit the mural in person and have the opportunity of unlocking discounts to selected London Designer Outlet eateries by scanning the QR code.

Born in Yorkshire and based in London and New York, Toby Triumph has worked with several high-profile brands known for their playful personalities, including Coca Cola, TfL, Google and adidas. Working closely with the iconic creative agency Accent London, Triumph’s new London Designer Outlet work reflects the mood and feel of the centre, with its bright colours and joyful design.

Toby Triumph, Artist, says:
“I was incredibly excited to be invited to create a piece of work that reflects the vibrant Brent community and all that London Designer Outlet’s fantastic restaurants have to offer. I love creating work that the public can interact with, and I feel that this piece is perfect for just that – visitors can stop and take a selfie and feel inspired about where to eat.”

Launching the same week as London Designer Outlet is set to host one of the headline performances in the Wembley Park and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s Wemba’s Dream festival, the mural will be accompanied by a special performance by north west London’s leading spoken word organisation, Word Up, who will be playing an integral part of the day-long unticketed event that will be free of charge for guests to enjoy.

London Designer Outlet is home to family-friendly dining concepts and boasts 20 restaurants, bars and eateries, including Byron, Nando’s, Pizza Express, wagamama, Zizzi and TGI Friday’s, all of which open until late, making London Designer Outlet a day-to-night destination. Throughout London Designer Outlet, you can find great on-the-go cafés, treats and fresh food options at Treatz, Tandoori Fusion and Opa (and more).

The mural will be located on London Designer Outlet’s first floor, next to Superdry.
