BRENT CROSS PARTNERS WITH CHARITY FOR MOTHER’S DAY TOY EXCHANGE

On Friday 20th March from 3pm – 6pm, ahead of Mother’s Day, Brent Cross is inviting local children to head to centre with their pre-loved toys to donate in an effort to warm the hearts of local mums and give back to less fortunate families.

All of the toys collected will then be donated to The Toy Project, who will begin distributing them to children across London as part of their ongoing support of those who would otherwise go without.

As a thank you for their generosity, the first 100 children who donate a toy will be given an exclusive gift bag for their mum, packed full of sweet treats, beauty and skincare samples and much more from resident retailers. Goodie bags from last year’s event went down a treat, with gifts from stores including Rituals, Kiehl’s, LUSH, Skinny Dip, and more.

Chris Barnes, General Manager of Brent Cross said: “Mother’s Day presents the perfect opportunity to make your mum feel special and while we know most kids would love to buy their mum a treat, sometimes their pocket money doesn’t stretch that far.

“That’s why we decided to launch the Mother’s Day Toy Exchange – to give children the chance to get their hands on a gift for mum while giving back to charity and donating any toys to local children who might be less fortunate. We’re proud to be partnering with The Toy Project to support the amazing work they do.”

The Mother’s Day Toy Exchange will take place outside Russell & Bromley by Centre Court from 3pm – 6pm. Make sure you get there quick to get your hands on one of the 100 exclusive gift bags, whilst stocks last.
